We think this will be our 27th year with Ken Clark on Lake Erie. We used to bring our own boat over. Not anymore! We just show up and catch fish! We always do at least two days. Stay one night but fish twice. Not sure how many friends we have referred. We are always impressed with how many people seem to know and like him. We tell Ken he is ‘famous’. He always says no, he is just ‘old’. We look forward to our trip (s) with Ken year-round. He even made our Christmas Card one year!

We live in Anchor Bay but had never fished the St. Clair River. We booked a charter with Captain Ken for my daughter’s birthday. None of us are what you would call ‘fisher-people’ by any means! However, Ken made us look like Tournament winning pro’s! We had a wonderful time and some great meals afterward. We now use Captain Ken’s fish recipe all the time! We are not waiting for birthdays to go with Captain Ken anymore!

Four of us guys had wanted to fish the Detroit River for years. One of our group got to hear Captain Ken Clark at a seminar in Columbus, Ohio. We decided to give him a try and are we glad we did! Everything about our trip exceeded our hopes and expectations! We have reservations for three days this year. Over 35 years of experience really showed! Good job, Ken!

Especially impressive was that you let them do EVERYTHING.....we were so concerned that you would be like the charters we’ve experienced here locally in the past and the poles would be out and when there was a fish on the Captain would say “ok, it’s your turn so come to the back of the boat”......they LOVED the way you let them do all the work- except for finding the fish of course.
So again....thank you for wonderful memories made by my husband and his boys. God willing we would love to do the charter again next year. "

“I was looking for a local charter to take my grandson out over vacation. Ken was highly recommended by co-workers and well deserved. We had a nice mid-week afternoon fishing trip on White Lake. We were into fish most of the day and caught 10 different species, including large bass and channel cats (my grandson's favorite fish to catch back home in Oklahoma...until Ken got him to agree Walleye are his new favorite fish). Captain Ken was ready to launch as soon as we arrived and stored our stuff. Best time ever! Jigging for walleye and limiting out you could not ask for more. That does not just happen it takes an experienced captain knowledgeable of the waters he is fishing, timing, and conditions. You could not ask for a more personable guide. Excellent riding boat and equipment. It was fun just going to and from his favorite fishing spots. Thank you so much for taking us out and providing an atmosphere of best friends hanging out.
